I’m Bianca, a Mexican-American artist–designer, and educator. My practice involves working in a transdisciplinary manner to re-interpret colonial histories and marginalized identity through investigations on digitization, language, and emerging technology. In tandem, I design books, exhibition identities, and websites with collaborators in the social, arts, and culture sectors.

As an educator, I am actively developing decolonial pedagogical frameworks that center transformative learning as a way towards collective liberation.

A bit late on this update, BUGWORLD opens on Monday, 4/24! Very happy to be in the company of Hiba Ali, Grayson Earle, Eileen Tjan, and Kira Xonorika. Looking forward to sharing a new video i've been working on. I also wanted to express my gratitude to Olivia Alonso Gough, the brilliant curator and person who invited me to participate.
